How do I access my Form 1040 online?

To access your 1040 return from a previous tax year online, check with the e-file provider you used for the year in question (for example, the 2023 tax return that you filed in 2024).

Were you one of our filers? You’ll be able to access your three most recent tax returns (each of which include your Form 1040—the main tax form—and any supporting forms used that year) when you sign into 1040.com and click to open the My Account screen.

If you filed through a tax return preparer or CPA, they can provide a printed or electronic copy of your tax return.
